SPCO Workforce:
Contractors employ highly skilled craftsmen who are required to complete at least 24 hours of continuing education each year. SPCO Contractors help manage the Painter’s Regional Training Center to assure that qualified new apprentices join the painting trade and that journey level painters are educated regarding current safety practices, equipment certifications, paint and coatings applications and safety protocols, surface preparation techniques and safety, as well as required first aid classes. Contractor employees are members if the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
